Lip Augmentation with Dermal Fillers

One of the most popular treatments using dermal fillers is lip augmentation, as it can enhance the shape, size, and symmetry of the lips. Additionally, as we age, volume loss in the lips occurs, and restoring this lost volume can result in more youthful-looking lips.

At JT Cosmetic Boutique, we understand that everyone has unique lip anatomy. Therefore, we tailor each treatment to suit your natural anatomy and achieve your desired goals.

Understanding Side Effects

While lip fillers are an elective cosmetic treatment, they are also a medical procedure and may come with side effects. Common side effects include:

Redness, Bruising, Swelling:

  • These effects are most intense during the first three days.

  • Swelling usually peaks the morning after treatment and subsides significantly after 3-4 days.

  • Complete healing of bruising and swelling typically occurs within two weeks.

  • Note: Please plan your events accordingly.

Firmness:

  • A normal side effect, as fillers are placed superficially for safety reasons.

  • During the first two weeks, you may feel the fillers under your lip skin. Lumps and bumps can often be felt but are usually not visible to others.

  • Post-treatment care instructions will be provided to ensure optimal results.
